ABOUT TANYA
I believe therapy works best when people feel genuinely safe, understood, and accepted. My approach is warm, relational and grounded in compassion. Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and compassion-focused modalities, I help clients explore their inner world with curiosity and care rather than judgment.
Many of us develop protective patterns that once helped us cope, even if now, they leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or self-critical. In our work together, we gently get to know these parts of you while strengthening your capacity for self-compassion, connection to your authentic self and confidence in leading yourself through life’s challenges.
With 11 years of experience in the counselling field, I strive to create an environment where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to move toward greater clarity. This can be a space where you can bring all aspects of yourself, the anxious parts, the guarded parts, the hurting parts, and the hopeful parts, without the fear of needing to “have it all figured out.”
I help individuals navigating trauma, life transitions, anxiety, burn out, chronic pain, chronic illness, emotional overwhelm, and patterns of self-criticism. Together, we move at a pace that feels supportive and respectful of your experience.
